Extended Aerations Process Description

The activated sludge process involves the production of an activated mass of organisms capable of stabilizing waste aerobically. This is achieved by introducing organic waste into a reactor where an aerobic bacterial culture is maintained in suspencion. The aerobic environment in the reactor is achieved by use of diffused aeration or mechanical aerators, which also serves to maintain the mixed regime.

Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR)

The Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) system from T & T Pacific Sdn. Bhd. combines membrane separation technology and activated sludge treatment process into a highly efficient wastewater treatment system capable of producing higher effluent quality discharge.

The MBR system is a single treatment system that handles liquid-solid separation and replaces the secondary sedimentation unit with membrane modulees in an activated sludge process.

Continuous Membrane Filtration (CMF) - (Water Purification)

The core of this process is the use of hollow fibre membranes manufactured from PVDF, a highly durable polymeric material that combines strength with high selectivity filter out unwanted materials from feed water. These hollow fibres operate under vacuum condition or pressure to allow feed water to pass into the fibre through microscopic pores.
